Physician Assistant Programs in NY

The physician assistant profession is one of the fastest-growing and in-demand professions, at the forefront of healthcare. Touro, along with the School of Health Sciences, is a powerhouse in the education and training of skilled and dedicated physician assistants.

There are four programs to choose from at the School of Health Sciences in NY:

We offer four physician assistant programs, with separate ARC-PA accreditations, and different schedules.

The BS/MS programs in Long Island/NUMC is a traditional program with a more accelerated schedule–the program is completed in 28 months.
The Manhattan program has a non-traditional schedule better suited for those with outside responsibilities and is completed in 32 months with a research component, and an optional behavioral health focus.
The MS program in Middletown is a traditional program with a more accelerated schedule–the program is completed in 28 months. You need a bachelor's degree to start this program.
The Advanced Placement PA Master’s Completion is an independent study program for students who already have a bachelor’s in physician assistant and are looking to advance their career by completing their master's degree. Applicants must have graduated from an Accredited Physician Assistant program to be considered.
